One of the shining highlights of Justice League involved its dramatic opening credits scene. The intro featured Sigrid’s cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Everybody Knows”. You would be forgiven to assume – as I did –  that Zack Snyder chose the song for the introduction. However, in a recent tweet, it seems that Joss Whedon has revealed that he selected the song for the sequence.

In reply to a tweet by Emily Nussbaum in which she wrote out lyrics to a verse from the song, Whedon tweeted “(I stuck it in JL too)”
